An Employee Evaluation of the Business Numbers

In other articles we have discussed the relationship between the numbers of the business and the personal numbers of the owner or principals of the business.

This article looks at the comparison from the point of view of an employee. When the company numbers of your employer are compatible with your personal numbers you will feel comfortable in the workplace. If there is a conflict in the numbers, that conflict will become evident in your relationship with the company.

Often the effects of the conflict are initially masked. AS you are learning the systems and rules of the job, there is so much that is new and different that the dissonance is attributed to learning the ropes.
After the job becomes routine the conflicts of energy become evident.

So how do you determine if a prospective employer is a good fit for you? Obviously the surest way is to have a comparison run by a qualified numerologist, who will consider all the nuances of the numbers in an assessment. But short of that there are some checks that you can make for yourself.

The first area of consideration is compatibility of the personal year cycles. To do this calculation you need to know the established founding date of the company. Finding the company personal cycle is the same as for an individual. Add the digits of the month and the day of birth or of the founding of the company to the total of the 4 digits of the current year. and keep adding until your result is a single digit. e.g. if the founding date was June 15, 1933, the personal year for that company in 2003 is 6+1+5+2+0+0+3=17=8. The company is in an 8 personal year. The year of founding does not enter into the personal year calculation.

If your personal year is either a 7 or a 9 you are in an incompatible cycle. You will always be out of sync. Adjacent numbers tend to be in conflict. If your personal year is any of the other numbers, some years may be more compatible than others.

The assessment that you then need to make is whether the job is worth the effort required to make for it to work for you. If you are in an incompatible cycle, you will always be out of sync with what is going on. You may begin to feel that this conflict is being personally directed at you. At the very least you will be uncomfortable. If the job allows you a sufficient autonomy, it may be possible to avoid the conflict. If you understand that everything is not personal, you may be able to accommodate the differences and to find a workable compromise. If you can't, very quickly you will feel stressed out and unhappy with the job.

No matter how good the job looks on paper, if you need to be constantly accommodating, your work will suffer. If you are not in tune with the company's energies, it is unlikely that you will be considered for the promotions and raises that you think that you deserve. With a lot of effort you could overcome these obstacles and make it work, but barring some strong reason to put yourself in that position, would you not be better off in a company that allowed you to follow your natural flow?

Next you may want to compare whether your motivation and the motivation of the company match. The motivation is determined by the soul urge number, which is the total of all the vowels in the name. If you have a strong money motivation (particularly the business numbers of 1,4,8), and the company has a creative or a passive soul urge (2,6,9) you may not get that hefty raise that you expected. To you the money may be key. to the company, other priorities may mean that you get the raise if other needs are first met.

Comparing the Expression numbers (the total of the values of all the letters in the name) determines whether your natural talents fit the needs of the numbers of the company. This comparison may not, at first, seem to be logical. The type of work may require certain skills. You have those skills in abundance. Those skills are very important to the company if they are to put out quality work, but if they are not skills within the expression number of the company, they may not be highly valued. As a result your expertise will be less respected. You may be the reason the company stays in business, but you would not be recognized for your contribution.

If you have been on your job for some time you may find certain irritations that arise. Most likely that situation results from an incompatibility in other numbers in the chart. The degree of irritation may be a clue as to how strong an energy is at work. These matters are often resolved just by the understanding that there is an incompatibility that requires some compromise. It is not as personal as sometimes it may seem to be. A numerologist can quickly pinpoint the sore spot.

If the major core numbers don't work for you, you may want to continue your job search. You can usually work through the minor numbers.

In a brief article we can only give a general overview. If you have more detailed questions please post them to the Business Discussion Board. We have had some challenges in getting the Board up and running properly, but it now seems to be working. Give it a try.
