Don't Become Overwhelmed by the Numbers

Numerologists love to delve into the depth of the meanings of numbers and the interactions of the various parts of your chart. This exploration will show nuances of meaning that cannot otherwise be determined.

Whenever a numerologist does a reading for an individual or develops the chart for a business, he or she must first determine how detailed an investigation would be useful. Not every question requires a full treatment. The temptation, of course, is to display the knowledge of the reader by revealing every detail that the numbers disclose. A good reader will pick and choose what is most appropriate at that time for that client. It is this selectivity that will cause readings at different times to relay different information.

A friend calls to ask whether it would be better to send his book manuscript to the agent on Friday or Monday. I could spend hours covering every aspect that the numbers might reveal. Would that treatment be of benefit? Probably not. All that is required is to run a quick check of the personal year, month and day, and to advise him of the likely effect of each day. I could have spent the time to run the full chart and provide a detailed explanation. All he wanted to know was which day would be better. I didn't need to explain how his energies fit each day and how I calculated all the nuances. He trusts my judgment. Friday or Monday?

Matthew Goodwin, who was an outstanding numerologist, stated that without the full chart, you were likely to give a distorted reading, because you might have overlooked nuances that would have changed your reading. I understand what he was saying, and don't entirely disagree with him, but practical benefit sometimes allows us to err on the side of simplicity.

I had a son-in-law who was a computer whiz. He knew computers inside out, both hardware and software. All his knowledge became of little benefit to me, because I avoided asking him even the simplest question about getting a program to work the way I wanted it to work. I always learned a whole lot more about computers than I ever wanted to know. A simple question deserves a simple answer.

If you have been following the articles in this newsletter, you may think that to gain any benefit from numerology, that you have to become a numerologist or to seek the services of a numerologist. Although I encourage you to seek my services, you can help yourself a great deal just from the basic principles.

Should I schedule a call on that major customer today or should I put it off until tomorrow? Do the simple calculation of your personal day. If you are in a strong business day, or the energies are friendly and outgoing, go for it. If you are in an introspective or slow-moving, touchy day, give yourself a break and wait. If you mistrust your calculations, or if you just want to know the nature of the day without the calculation, you can subscribe to the Daily Numeroscopes, and get my view on your day.

Numerology has enough depth to it to be a life time study, but you can benefit from even a smattering of knowledge. Don't become so wrapped up in doing everything just right that you lose the guidance that the numbers can bring to your life and to your business. Work with an awareness of your daily numbers and you will begin to relate to the patterns. Your intuitive sense will fit your numbers.

Keeping track of your numbers will also open your psychic awareness that allows you to be at the right place at the right time more often. You will begin to find the flow of your life becoming smoother. There is no substitute for awareness and practice.
