Musings
As most of you know, Trouble is the office cat.
He is an indoor/outdoor cat.
Pets can teach us a lot of lessons if we are receptive to them. Trouble is quite
independent. He is not shy about letting me know what he wants. He can be
insistent, in fact. If he wants his chin scratched or his belly rubbed, he is on
my lap for this treatment. It doesn't matter that I am in the middle of writing a
newsletter or the Daily numeroscopes, or playing a game of free cell. Of course,
I could just put him outdoors and shut him out. But would I do that? Not on your
life. Instead I may type with one finger as I give him what he wants.
Why am I so accommodating to Trouble. When he senses that I am distraught or
upset, he comes to comfort me. When everything is going well he can ignore me
for days, but when I need him he is there.
This is one Trouble that I am happy to have. (Incidentally, if you run his numbers
you will see that the numbers fit him very well.)

A Bit of Philosophy
"The crowd heard his voice but not the words. They heard the sounds but not the
message. They were frenzied beyond tolerance. The Golden Rule would be
sacrificed for a day's vengeance. Ask forgiveness later. A clever age-old
distraction, used since Babylonian times, to keep the flock coming back for
more."

Can You Trust the Numbers?
Whether in delineating a business or a personal chart, over time, through the
experience of hundreds of readings, I have learned to trust the numbers. You
will need to determine for yourself whether your experience also confirms this
information. I have often misjudged a person's capabilities based upon personal
observation. When the numbers show a more complex person within the image
presented, invariably the person confirms the accuracy of the numbers.
If my impression and the numbers conflict, I have learned to follow the numbers
over my impression. I have yet to regret that decision. Most of us show a
controlled facade to the world. The numbers reach into your true depth.
I have had clients to question my findings. In doing a reading for an employment
situation, I advised caution in the hiring of a certain individual. The numbers
showed negative tendencies that would not be favorable for the business. The
client insisted that they had known this person for twenty years and thought
that he would be a good fit for their need. Within two months of the hiring, I
received a telephone call saying that they wished they had listened. The hiring
was a disaster in the very areas in which the numbers had cautioned them.
Now the challenge is that each of us has free will. Even though we are working
with numbers in our chart that show negative tendencies, that does not mean that
we will fall prey to negative actions. You may take a chance on someone who is
aware of the possibility of negative action, but is disciplined to avoid
following the tendency.
Should someone who is really working at overcoming the negative side of the
numbers be penalized? That is your call. Often, when the pressure is on, that
person will revert to the natural tendencies. I would be comfortable with
someone who is consciously working on their negative tendencies. I would be wary
of someone who is unaware of this negative potential. The unaware person will
habitually follow the pattern of the numbers.
There are three reasons that you may find to distrust the numbers.
1. When the data upon which they are based is inaccurate
2. When they are interpreted by an unskilled practitioner, and
3. When there is a conscious modification of actions in opposition to the
numbers.
My experience says very resoundingly, that yes we can trust the numbers.
