Getting a Handle on the Economy

The first step in evaluating the economy and looking at the numbers to make some sense of it, is to define what the economy is and what it is not. The economy is not government programs. It is not a controllable entity. What we call the economy consists of millions of individual buying and selling decisions on a daily basis. You affect the economy.

When the Federal Reserve Board adjusts the interest rate to stimulate the economy or to slow down inflation, the effect is not direct. The Board takes these actions with the assumption founded upon past experience that when they act in a certain way that you will react in a certain way.

Your reaction may be influenced by other factors, such as your personal financial position, your confidence in the continuation of the money flow and the news as presented in the media by which you are affected. The cumulative affect of the personal situation and attitude of each individual and each business determines the economy. No matter what the government does to affect your behavior, the ultimate result will depend on you. That is why President Roosevelt said that we have nothing to fear but fear itself. Expecting a bad economy to continue creates a climate in which individual decisions are made to shut down purchases.

Obviously when you are looking at the cumulative effect of the decisions of 185,000,000 Americans in the United States, you may rightfully say that your part is insignificant. Or if you consider the world economy with over 6 billion people contributing, you may be justified in thinking that you actions won't make much difference. The truth is that your contribution is as important to the total as any one of the other 6 billion input.

Money is energy in solid form. It must flow for it to grow. In situations where people are holding on to what they have in fear, the money flow slows or stops. Your individual spending habits may bring you success or failure on a personal level, but either way you have affected the total money flow to the extent of your spending.
This has been a rather lengthy introduction to a look at the numbers, but necessary to understand the implications of numerology in predicting the economy. As in any other area, the more complete and the more accurate the data the better the prediction can be. Since here we are dealing with severe limitations in the data, this article is for the purpose of presenting a means of analysis rather than upon providing an accurate prediction that you can take to the bank.

Because of space limitations, we will deal primarily with the economy of the United States.

For this analysis consider first the universal energies, then the cycles of the United States, followed by the cycles of each individual within the country. Look at the overall affect of the year energy. Each month has its own energy, and each day can be determined by its energy. If you really want to get precise, you can figure the numbers for each part of the day, but by the time you calculate this detail it would have changed.

2003 is a 5 universal year. 5 is the number of change, of opportunity and of sudden events. The United States is in a 7 personal year. The 7 is introspective, often confused by a mass of conflicting data, and requires a walk of faith. It is not a year for the United States to be financially aggressive. To determine the individual personal years we would need to have the demographics of the population separated into the personal year cycles. We need to know how many people are in a 1 personal year, how many in a 2 and so forth. Additionally we would need to know the age grouping and financial status of the individuals in each of these cycles. With the computer technology this data could be compiled, but probably would not be considered a worthwhile use of resources.

So you see with complete data, an accurate prediction could be made on a daily basis as to what to expect of the economy. At some time in the future, if numerology should gain that much acceptance, a group of wealthy investors may find it suitable to set up detailed data bases for predicting purposes, but then again the cost may not be justifiable.

With the limitations of data, the strongest indicators that we can use are the numbers of the country itself. By October the energy of the coming year will begin to be felt. The personal month number of October is the same as the personal year number for next year. October is like a preview of what to expect in 2004. The United States is coming into an 8 personal year. The 8 is money, management, control and power.
With the caveat that complete accuracy is not possible without complete data, this is how I see the economy flowing:

For the rest of 2003:

October (7 year, 8 month) an upsurge with great optimism that a turnaround has occurred.

November (7 year, 9 month) A lot of adjustments that take the glow off the optimism.
Additional jobs lost as some businesses close down or reduce unneeded staff.
December (7 year, 1 month) Another upsurge as new businesses are established and new methods are put into place. A generally upbeat mood prevails. The faith is renewed.

For 2004:

January (8 year, 9 month) Some of the older companies that had not completed their streamlining will close out some divisions and lay off employees. Additional companies may close or leave the country. Although many will think that this is another downturn, it is making room for new growth.

February (8 year, 1 month) This is the true start of a major economic recovery that will be strong through September, with normal ups and downs intervening.
Let's see how the reality fits with this number sequence, and perhaps revisit this topic to fine tune our predictions. I would be very interested in feedback from you numerologists out there concerning your agreements and disagreements (When have you known numerologists to agree?) Share your insights on the Discussion Board. I would appreciate those of you who are interested in following this project more carefully to track the flow of the economy to see how closely it follows this pattern. Would you also post your observations? Don't hesitate to prove me wrong. It is by this type of feedback that we all can become better predictors using the numbers.
