Is This for Real?
This month we have been providing readings at The Verizon Music Center. During
October, which concludes with Hallowe'en, many people become fascinated with the
metaphysical. As a result, we often read for people who have not previously
obtained such a reading. Many of them come to the table with the expectation of
a fluff reading for fun. The skeptics can become shaken in their beliefs when
they receive honest and valid answers to their quandaries or confirmation in
questioned areas of their lives. Those of you who have been reading my articles
for a while know that I love to read for skeptics.
The title of this article was a question asked by a young person who sat at my
table for a reading. These personal readings validate the value of numerology to
the seekers. By seeing the accuracy for their lives, they can then be more
comfortable in relying upon the numbers for their business endeavors. Many
people are not aware of numerology or the other metaphysical tools that are
available. Some have been taught that somehow it is the work of the devil to
explore these areas. This conditioning goes back many millennia when such
knowledge was restricted to the kings and priest as a means to control the
populace.
Some numerologists, such as Matthew Goodwin when he was alive, will not do a
reading without a full chart in front of them and will require at minimum an
hour to explain it. Their position is that reading from partial information can
skew the reading or misplace the emphasis. I agree that for the greatest degree
of accuracy a full evaluation is necessary, but a quicker reading from a partial
chart can provide useful information. As an example, the Daily Numeroscopes are
based only upon your birth date. They do not consider your interior numbers. For
that reason They give you a limited view. To consider your full chart for each
day would only allow me to provide that service to one or two of you at a time.
The accuracy would be uncanny, but that approach would exclude most of you
because of the time and the cost.
In spite of the limitations, it is my feeling that this limited snapshot of your
day provides helpful guidance. Because of circumstances in your life, you may
not be able to relate to the surrounding energies. On a day that encourages you
to relax, you may be meeting an important deadline that forces you to work long
and hard to complete the project. You may then say that the Daily Numeroscope
was in error, but you will find that to take this alternate course was a
struggle all day. You were out of the flow of the energies. Sometimes you just
have to make the decision to do what is necessary in spite of your natural
inclination.
When you are applying numerology to your business decisions, it is desirable to
look at the full panoply of the energies that can influence that decision. I
would not feel comfortable with just a quick glance at your numbers when you are
setting up the business. The decision of the name and the start date will affect
that business for as long as it exists. A cursory treatment would be a
disservice. You want the accuracy that can only be obtained from a thorough
understanding of the numbers that are being considered. In this case the
evaluation of a partial chart would not be beneficial.
Many successful businesses have been established without the overt help of a
numerologist. The founders possibly were intuitive enough to sense what was
desirable. Some, no doubt, were just lucky. When we read statistics on the
number of business that fail in the first year and the few that survive more
than five years, it is evident that intuition and luck aren't always enough. In
starting a business there are so many costs that hit you before you begin to
bring in the profits. This money spent is wasted if the business folds. Get
started off right by using all the tools at your diposal.
The quick readings are for the purpose of helping people to become familiar with
the benefits of numerology and need to be considered as limited. When the matter
involves your livelihood or a full plan for your life, you need the
uncanny accuracy of a full chart.
