Musings
It seems to me that the rate of change in our world is
accelerating. All of the channeling indicate a propulsion
toward the next level of development. People will react in
different ways to the coming events. Those who are bound to the
status quo will fight every modification. Those who are eager
for the new world that will emerge from the chaos will promote
the changes.
Each of us can choose our position. Those with little
understanding of what is happening may intuitively be led in the
path of progress. The hallmark of the new energies coming into
the earth plane is a speeding up of the vibratory level. Time
seems to be raving along. You may have thought that you were
just slowing down, but most likely the condition is more general
than you might have suspected.
To some degree we can prepare for the coming events, but for the
most part, we are not fully aware of what to expect. The best
preparation would seem to be at the inner and spiritual levels.
You may have already noticed a change of emphasis in your own
priorities. Since the harmonic concordance of November 8, 2003,
everything that is not soundly based upon honesty and integrity
is being shaken. We will see greater upheaval in governments and
economic systems. And as Jesus told his disciples, When you see
these things happening, rejoice. The kingdom of heaven is near
at hand.
Keep the faith as we travel together into wonderful new realms.

A Bit of Philosophy
Habit is a significant factor. Most people are inclined to fall
into a steady routine of work, simply because anything else
would require imagination, invention and a spirit of adventure.
Accepting the routine of work gives meaning and order to lives
that would otherwise be chaotic and unbearable. It's not so
much that people like work as that they fear having nothing to
do and no place to go for eight or more hours a day. How else to
explain the depression that comes over men facing retirement,
even in cases when they are leaving with a generous pension and
a fat bundle of stock? Work is a habit-forming drug, and the
habit is hard to break.

The Numbers for a Savvy Investor - Warren Edward Buffett
Many times the numbers of a prominent person can provide insight
into the traits that have made that person successful in his or
her chosen field. Because the numbers are unique to the
individual, we may not be able to fully emulate that success.
But exploring the numbers can give clues that might be helpful.
Warren Edward Buffett was born on August 30, 1930. He is
considered to be one of the most savvy investors in the world
and is probably the second wealthiest man in the United States
of America. His birth numbers are as follows:
Life Path 6
Expression 16/7
Soul Urge 2
Personality 5
Birth Day 3
Integrative Vision Number 5
In addition, from his intensification table, he has diminished
1s and an 8 karmic lesson.
From the fives and the three in his core numbers, you might
think that he is just lucky, because luck tends to follow these
numbers.
The 5 Integrative Vision Number says that he approaches life
with an insatiable curiosity. He has a vivid imagination that is
always asking, "What if we try it this way instead of using the
standard method?" The 5 seeks out a constant flow of new
opportunities. This is the side of him that is most readily
apparent to those who do not know him well. He can be perceived
as a risk taker, and at times, even irresponsible when he goes
against conventional wisdom.
In this case, appearances could be deceiving. Although he may be
ready to jump into an investment on a seeming whim, you can be
sure that before taking the leap that he has done his due
diligence. With a 2 Soul Urge, he is not comfortable until every
t is crossed and every i is dotted. All the figures have to
prove themselves to his satisfaction. As he grows older this
need for intimate knowledge of each investment will increase
rather than diminish.
One of the secrets to his success as an investor comes from his
16/7 Expression. He likely sees the world from a different
viewpoint from most people. As a result he can see opportunity
where most people would see disaster. His keen analytical mind
ponders each detail. He will be aware of any potential problems
before he makes a move. He is additionally inclined toward
requiring a full understanding of any investment because his
self-confidence is not a strong as you might anticipate (shown
by limited 1s in his intensification table). His doubts make him
doubly cautious.
His true desire (2 Soul Urge) is to fade into the woodwork. He
is not too concerned about who gets the credit as long as the
job is done right. He has a good sense of proportion in his life
and places his emphasis upon those values that are significant
for society.
He is a truly caring individual, but to protect his often
sensitive feelings, he puts up a shield so only those whom he
allows can get close to him. Although he does not like
confrontation, his sometimes aloof demeanor can be
intimidating.
In 2004, he is in an 8 personal year, so we can expect him to be
making a significant major investment. He will be at the peak of
his game, so you may want to watch carefully what he is doing
and follow his lead. This should be a year of excellent
financial return for him.
You might be surprised that money is not a primary motivation
for him. In fact the flow of money in his life may be a bit out
of balance. He has a frugal side that will not allow him to
spend when the spending would be beneficial, but his spendthrift
side will sometimes go overboard on something frivolous. (8
karmic lesson)
As with most charts, you cannot isolate single numbers. This
combination of numbers has obviously worked well for Mr. Buffett.
He could have used this same chart to go into widely varying
fields. There really is not much that he couldn't do if he set
his mind to it. He has the talent to be a tremendously effective
teacher or writer. He could have been a musician or an actor or
a singer. Or perhaps a part of him regrets not having become a
medical doctor or a veterinarian. Not many of us have this
wealth of ability.
