Musings

Multi-tasking has been touted as a means of accomplishing more
within a given time frame. It is my opinion that this procedure
has been highly over-rated. The reason that you are receiving
this newsletter so late is because of multi-tasking.

Let me explain. The newsletter was just about ready on time.
Just a few more finishing touches and it would have been sent
out. The telephone rang. It was a friend who calls regularly.
She gives me a different view of the world, so I talked with her
(or should I say, listened to her?) and continued the editing. A
dialog box then came up on my computer saying it was time to run
a registry cleaning and compacting program. I figured that it
could run in the background without interference, so I clicked
yes. It needed to set a restore point. Another yes. that is when
the problem occurred. The default is to restore the computer. I
needed another click to set a restore point. So instead of
continuing in the process, the computer shut down. It did ask to
save the newsletter. I thought that I clicked yes, because I
could not stop the process. The computer closed down and the
newsletter went into cyberspace. It was not listed in the
directory. A search on a number of the unique words in the
newsletter failed to disclose its whereabouts. It was not to be
found. Some day it may haunt me in an unexpected pop-up.

Well, so much for multi-tasking. I think that from now on my 4
life path does better with completing one task before starting
another.

Martha Stewart in the Hot Seat

Many times the numbers of a prominent person can provide
insight into the traits that have made that person
successful in his or her chosen field. Because the numbers
are unique to the
individual, we may not be able to fully emulate that success.
But exploring the numbers can give clues that might be helpful.

Martha Stewart was born Martha Helen Kostyra on August 3, 1941.
She is considered to be the guru for the creative homemaker
and is one of the wealthiest women in the United States of America.
Unfortunately with both her personal and corporate legal
challenges her fortune has dwindled. Her birth numbers are as
follows:

Her intensification table, is nicely balanced, with no karmic
lessons and only a slight emphasis on personal power. The strong
2s show a sensitivity that is easily overshadowed by the more

I don't know whether Martha and her co-founders used the
services of a numerologist to determine the name and filing date
for the corporation, but the result is a chart that I would have
been pleased to create. Some conflict is unavoidable and perhaps
desirable, but here it is kept to a minimum.

Martha started out in life with very powerful numbers. With the
strong imbalance toward the 8 energy, with little support from
softer energies, even as girl she was driven to acquire power.
She knew what she wanted to achieve in general terms and had the
drive to get there. With her numbers showing little tolerance or
consideration for other people, it is not surprising that she
would make some powerful enemies along the way.

With her employees she is very demanding, but not nearly as
demanding as she is of herself. She has little tolerance for
laziness or sloppy work. As a result, she is a difficult boss,
but for those who can rise to the challenge, she has the ability
to challenge them to reach his or her full potential. You can
count on her fairness. To those who succeed with her, she is
lavish in her rewards. Those who complain or slack off get
crumbs.

With her current name the powerful 8 and the enigmatic 7 energy
is replaced with the detail oriented 4 and the wide open
opportunities of the 5. With the name change through marriage,
Martha Stewart, she became poised for unprecedented business
expansion.

With a 7 expression and a 7 integrative vision number she has a
secretive side that she will not share with anyone. This energy
is very analytical and observant. Nothing escapes her attention.
Because she sees the world differently from most people, this
doubled 7 energy may make her appear to be eccentric. It gives
her a mysterious air in which she revels.

Her communication is often terse and unclear. She thinks that
what she says is perfectly clear, but it may be lacking the
details necessary for the listener to fully understand. Her

developing your own business. We can do some analysis of the
legal matters with the numbers.

The expression of the current name 1s a 14/5. This energy is
karmic, often leading to rash and impulsive actions and to
overindulgence. The effects of this energy will be mitigated to
some degree by the more stable numbers in her chart. She is in
an 8 personal year, which is a year of success and support for
business and financial interests. February is a 1 personal
month. These numbers support a favorable result in the trial. It
seems to me that if the trial, including the jury verdict, is
concluded before the end of the month that an acquittal is
likely. If the deliberations go into March, the results will be
more dependent upon Martha's actions. In March she will become
too impatient to allow the proceedings to take their natural
course and will feel that it is necessary to take some action -
any action. She could derail the work in progress.

Likewise with the Corporate legal action with K-Mart, this is a
favorable year for a win. This case is not as far along. If it
goes into next year, there may be some complications. The
Corporation may want to see this matter go to trial or settle
before the end of the year.
