Musings
It is often puzzling to know how to handle the roadblocks of
life. Numerology shows the karmic blocks that are given to us to
balance out past imbalances. But in those areas that are not
clear cut as to their purpose, there is always a question that
must be answered. Is this roadblock a test of my mettle to
determine what challenges I can handle? Or is this roadblock an
inner guidance telling me that I am on the wrong track and need
to change direction.
Both positions seem to have validity. If it is a test then the
proper approach is persistence and trying alternative means of
accomplishing the goal. If it is guidance then to persist may be
fighting our own benefit. I do not know a clear answer that is
right for all situations and all persons. It seems that the
decision must be made each time that we come to a difficult
circumstance. I somehow question those who assert that they have
the correct answer for everybody at all times.
It seems to me that the only way to be sure is to trust your
inner guidance. By asking our higher self for an answer we can
gain assurance. If it seems that the answer is not forthcoming,
then I keep persisting (stubbornness?) My concern is in those
instances that I get an answer that I don't want to hear.
How do you handle these circumstances?

A Bit of Philosophy
To the extent that there is substance in the workings of the
human mind. there is plenty of teachable substance -- far more
so than in philosophy, for instance, the creative principles are
known. Some techniques, although empirical, are workable. But
even greater than this pedagogical substance is the limitless
subjective substance. For if and when a student is
"introduced" to his own creative power, he will find his own
mind to be an ever-widening source of self-revelation.

Should Hillary Clinton Run?
(These articles highlighting men and women who have had high
achievement in business and government allow us to take a
glimpse at the
underlying energies and how they applied these
numbers to their
business
interests. I trust that the example is
helpful to your own
application of the numbers. In some instances
the path of the
business is directly reflected in the numbers. In other
instances we can see success in spite of counter-balancing
numbers.)
The Data:
Birth Name: Hillary Diane Rodham
Birth Date: October 26, 1947
Life Path 3
Expression 6
Soul Urge 3
Personality 3
Birthday 8
Integrative Vision 5
Hillary Rodham Clinton
Life Path 3
Expression 6
Soul Urge 3
Personality 3
Birthday 8
Integrative Vision 5
It is unusual for the birth name and the married name of a
person to result in exactly the same core numbers. In the case
of Hillary Rodham Clinton she would maintain her initial birth
energies without modification.
The most noteworthy emphasis in the core numbers is the triple 3
of the life path, the soul urge and the personality. The 3 tends
to be very persuasive. She can use words to striking effect. At
times she can become sarcastic and hurtful, often without
intent. The words come out before the thought can be fully
formed. When she adds a 5 integrative vision number, the chart
pushes her to be scattered. She has an insatiable curiosity.
She has been categorized as the world's smartest woman. The
numbers would show that she is not a deep thinker. What she does
have is a quick mind that picks up information easily. She can
take a very limited amount of data and put it together in such a
way that she appears to be an expert on the topic. By
surrounding herself with knowledgeable people and tapping into
their conversations, she can gain the bits and pieces that she
needs. She would rather know a little bit about everything than
to be an expert in a single area. She needs an approving
audience.
As a politician she has the unique ability to relate to about
anyone. She is not prejudiced, but finds people who are from a
different culture or from varied backgrounds to be interesting.
From this perspective she is able to persuade a diverse spectrum
of people to her viewpoint.
She learns more from experience than she does by study. Although
she has a limited amount of 5s in her intensification table, the
5 integrative vision number provides adaptability to change that
otherwise would be lacking. Her development depends upon her
staying on the cutting edge, but her growth requires that she
organize the information gained from her activities.
Her personal year cycle is the same as the universal cycle. This
coordination puts her in tune with the general trends of
society. 2004 is a 6 year. 6 is the most balanced of the
numbers. She has a fine tuned sense of her responsibilities. Her
family relationships are under review. She will determine
whether she is able to give what these relationships need and if
she is receiving what she needs.
2004 is not an especially favorable year for her to run for the
presidency. She has a 2 essence, which gives rise to
self-doubts. She does not want confrontation now. She will
likely work behind the scenes to manipulate situations in ways
that are favorable to her.
The numbers are extremely favorable for a run in 2008. She will
be in a 1 personal year, a year of new beginnings. She will have
an 8 essence, which gives her a strong ambition and a natural
leadership. She also starts a 3 pinnacle in that same year,
which adds an element of luck.
In the years between 2004 and 2008, she will have challenges in
establishing her financial base for her next steps. The
following year will deal with her marriage. She will spend time
alone to determine who she is and where she is headed. She will
likely seek spiritual development through crisis. By the time
she completes this process she will have clarity about her path
and can then put her full energies behind her plans.
It seems to me that a 2004 run would be premature. The
experiences of the interim years are a necessary part of her
preparation. With these experiences she will change her
perspective. Even if she were drafted as a candidate, and should
she win, her presidency would be less than stellar. By waiting
until 2008, the numbers show a potential for her to make a major
difference in the world. Should she gain the presidency, she
will likely be more centrist than expected by her opponents.
This analysis is based upon the numbers, not upon political
preference.
