Musings
Those subscribers who are not also subscribers to the Daily
Numeroscopes may not be aware of the challenges that April
presented while Mercury was in retrograde. If you missed the
newsletter last week, it was not eaten by the spam filters. It
didn't get out because of a computer failure. It was so far
destroyed that the only solution was to replace it. Not a fun
process. In any case, Mercury is back direct. It is May. And all
is right again with the energies.
Many light workers say that we create our own experiences to
give us the insights and lessons that we need for our
development. Whether you accept this position or not, it seems
to me that it is beneficial to take from each experience the
lesson that it has to teach. If I take responsibility for both
the good and bad circumstances, I am in control of my life. I
then have the power as well to make the changes that will bring
about a more desirable outcome. As long as I blame outside
forces beyond my control I become a pawn to the whims of fate.
I am still having an inner debate about this issue. At what
level did I choose a computer crash and a simultaneous car
breakdown? If I were in control, could I not at least have
spread out the challenges instead of having them all hit at
once. Perhaps it was better to get all this action behind me in
as short a time frame as possible. Certainly with this being a 1
month for me in a 5 personal year, May is wide open to great new
opportunities. Who knows where this energy will take me.
Are the negative events necessary to give us perspective?
Maybe.
If I am creating my experiences, I think for May I will try
something more positive. How about you?

The next book in the Wake up...Live the life you Love series
will feature Wayne Dyer, Deepak Chopra, Bill Harris and me with
about 45 other co-authors. We have been meeting by
teleconference for several weeks, getting to know each other,
and sharing ideas. The manuscripts are submitted and the
editing
process is underway. Look for publication late summer. My
impression of the group is that these are my kind of people.
The
authors come from Ireland, Australia, Canada and the USA.

A Bit of Philosophy
Humanity is experiencing a very rapid awakening in this
transition from the Piscean Age to the New Age of Aquarius. Part
of this awakening involves our preparation, or adjustment, for
living in the consciousness of the New Age.
Millions of incarnate beings on this Earth are working,
consciously or subconsciously, on their self, anticipating the
coming events in evolution. Many are working to master and
integrate personality. Others are awakening to soul awareness;
they strive to bring soul and personality into full, cooperative
expression.

Business Integration
Your business life cannot be separated from your personal life.
Even when you are in a social situation, the conversation at
some point will get around to your business. This statement is
not a criticism, it is just the way that we identify ourselves.
When someone asks you to define yourself, the chances are very
good that you will do so by the work that you do. I am a lawyer,
I am a doctor, I am a numerologist, I am a laborer. Bound up in
these statements is a package of traits that surround each of
these activities. We expect certain characteristics from people
who work in certain fields. In considering our own choice of
work we assume these traits, either consciously or
unconsciously.
If you make a major career change, friends and close associates
will begin to notice changes taking place within you and in your
actions. Your world view is colored by your chosen work.
Because your work life is so integral a part of who you are, it
is important to have a clear sense of appropriateness in your
career choices. By Appropriateness, I am looking at the numbers
in your chart. Do your numbers support the traits and
characteristics that the chosen field requires? When you choose
a field you will spend more of your time with people who are
also doing the same type of work. Does this field attract the
type of people with whom you are comfortable?
If your numbers do not support the work, you will burn out
quickly. That is the danger in basing your career choice upon
external factors, such as the money potential or the family
business or prestige. If your numbers do not fit you for that
choice you will not have the energy to successfully fulfill the
requirements to make a success of that business. You have
probably heard or read that you should do what you love and the
money will follow. That position may or may not be true. But I
do feel that I am on firm ground to say that when your work is
supported by the numbers of your chart success will come more
easily. If you are constantly battling against the natural flow
of your life you dissipate your energies unproductively.
Circumstances may dictate that you take a job that is unsuitable
to your numbers. You may get stuck if you do not take conscious
control. Even while doing undesirable work you can begin
planning for the type of work that would be ideal for you. It
may require additional education. It may mean creating a nest
egg for the transition. It may require persuasion to gain the
cooperation of a spouse or other people who influence you or are
affected by your choices. But if you do not make plans you will
end up staying with this less than desirable choice for a
lifetime of regret.
I had a friend who took a job because of the pay and the
benefits, doing work that was very routine and unfulfilling. He
married and had several children to support. He often expressed
dissatisfaction with the work, but felt that he could not afford
to make a change. He became bound by his responsibilities. Over
the years an evident weariness came over him. He lost the spark
from his life. The routine became too strong to break. Now at
retirement age his life is limited. When the routine is ended,
will he have the energy to fulfill his life path? Or has he
fulfilled his path through this sacrifice? A full numerology
chart would provide the answer. The best time to gain this
insight is at the start of a career or when making a career
change, rather than after the fact.
