The Search for Google
(These articles highlighting men and women who have had high
achievement in business allow us to take a glimpse at the
underlying energies and how they applied these numbers to their business
interests. I trust that the example is helpful to your own
application of the numbers. In some instances the path of the

instances we can see success in spite of counter-balancing

The Data:
A thorough search of the internet using the Google search engine gave no clue of
a middle name for either of the principles. A telephone call to the company was
equally unproductive. We cannot assume that the birth name is correct, and
therefore will not rely upon it for a full delineation. Instead the names are
used for a quick check as to how these men present themselves to the world.

Google has made a name for itself. The original idea was to name the company
after the googol (10 to the 100th power.) As those of you who know numerology
may suspect, the difference in spelling was not random. We may never know the
full discourse that went into this name, but we can reasonably assume an
intuitive direction. This spelling has become so popular through the search
engine that you will often find the mathematical term referred to as a google.
The company name with a 7 expression emphasizes the research and science of the
product. The original spelling with an 8 expression and a 9 soul urge would have
brought a strong money emphasis, but with conflicting energies about how to use
it.
Google, after much speculation and denial has decided to go public. The
corporation is in a 22/4 personal year. The 22 is a year for taking the
corporation to a higher level. The timing is right for a public offering. If the
proper attitude is maintained by those in charge, this offering will far exceed
the expectations of those involved. The global emphasis of the 22 indicates that
this offering will have worldwide impact. It would not be surprising to find
much of the stock to be purchased by investors from abroad.
Every detail of this offering will be planned out. With his 3 life path, Larry
Page will see many ways that would appear to be time saving short cuts. Sergey
Brin, with his 22 birthday and the corporate personal year on his side will be
able to maintain a steady progress. Both Larry and Sergey have a skill with
words that is very persuasive to investors. They can engender a trust that will
make the offering successful.
Sergey is in a 9 personal year, which is the conclusion of his personal cycle.
He is preparing for change by discarding what is not working for him. The public
offering will provide the opportunity for him to explore new interests. Even
though Larry and Sergey will keep controlling interest, going public will bring
significant changes. With his 5 life path, Sergey is, no doubt, already
exploring the new opportunities that will arise. With all his planning, however,
new choices will be thrust upon him suddenly, without preparation.
Larry is in a 16/7 personal year. He will likely observe all that is going on
and file that information in his subconscious for whenever it may be needed. He
may not show much emotion about the public offering, but that does not indicate
a lack of feeling. He maintains a closed facade right now.
Google, Inc. has risen to a level that causes some people concern. The lack of
full disclosure of the data that it collects and the popularity of its search
engine could create a database of information that could easily be misused. Its
top-secret algorithms, which are being constantly expanded, have the potential
to be invasive to personal privacy. If this data gets into the wrong hands it is
a powerful tool for control and manipulation.
On the positive side, the comprehensive information available provides detailed
and quick searches of whatever information that we seek. With a geometric
expansion of the internet into billions of web pages and an unbelievable number
of searches daily, without the integration of the search engine data, the surfer
would be hopelessly lost in trying to locate even a small piece of information.
So the argument rages. Is Google a God or a satan. As long as Sergey and Larry
are in control, from their numbers, I would opt for the God side. So far their
sudden wealth does not appear to have corrupted them. As young as they are, we
can expect them to be at the helm for a long time to come.
Following this year, the corporation goes into a 5 personal year. The 5 year
will bring so many new opportunities that not all can be implemented. Pick and
choose wisely, fellows.
Following the numbers of the cycle, I expect a great response to the offering,
followed by a year of wide open expansion (2005), followed by a year of
consolidation and stability (2006). Then comes a year of new research and
development (2007). It all comes together in 2008 for a highly profitable year.
2009 closes out this phase. A fresh start is available in 2010.
With 3 of the 5 core numbers of the corporation being 7, we would expect this
company to be a bit eccentric and to avoid doing things the way that everyone
else thinks is proper. The corporate viewpoint is slightly askew from mainstream
business. A Dutch-Auction stock offering is just one more way that this
corporation distinguishes itself, much to the chagrin of the Wall Street
brokers. Is the stock a good investment? You have to decide that for yourself.
