In Memoriam: Ronald Reagan

(These articles highlighting men and women who have had high
achievement in business and government allow us to take a
glimpse at the underlying energies and how they applied these
numbers to their business interests. I trust that the example
is helpful to your own application of the numbers. In some
instances the path of the business is directly reflected in the
numbers. In other instances we can see success in spite of
counter-balancing numbers.)

With a 13/4 expression Ronald Reagan was a man of strong
resolve. He was not easily persuaded away from the actions
that he felt were best. To some associates, he may have
appeared to be narrow-minded and stubborn. But his
persistence in face of opposition would be a hallmark of his
successful presidency of the United States of America. He
was loyal to his friends even when they proved to be untrue
to him. This loyalty, however, would not preclude him from
judging their actions. He had very definite ideas of right and wrong,
but in all his assessments he tried to be fair.

This rigid stance was mitigated by his 11/2 life path and his
11/2 personality. This master level energy gave him a clear
sense of mission. He saw what could be more strongly than he
looked at what was. for this reason many pundits thought that
he was out of touch with reality. His sensitivity to people
and a deep understanding of their motivations allowed him to
connect without the need for multiple polls. He was undoubtedly psychic, although with his 7 integrative vision number, he
would not likely disclose this fact to any but his closest
confidants.

He was much maligned for some of his positions. Many of the
writers described him as a shallow thinker with little clue for
the weighty matters with which he had to deal. His numbers
paint a contrary picture. When a matter was interesting or
important to him he was not content with surface knowledge.
He could not rest until he had learned every nuance of the
subject. The criticism often came from those who were pushing
an agenda that Mr. Reagan either opposed or that he considered
to be inconsequential.

Many observers thought that he was unaffected by these barbs.
His numbers show him to be extremely sensitive and easily hurt
by the criticism. His stoic facade and the shield that he put up
for protection caused him to be misinterpreted. When he was
working with the 11 energy he could ride above the fray. When
he lost that higher edge and worked at the 2 level he could
have a pity party with the best of them.

He was not above manipulating situations to his benefit. He
would do everything possible to avoid a confrontation.
Sometimes that avoidance meant pulling strings behind the
scenes. Because of his tremendous ability to negotiate, he
did not often need to use a head-on confrontation. But when
the circumstances justified this approach he was very
effective. The surprise factor worked in his favor.

He was a student of history. He understood the lessons of the
past, but did not live in the past. His vision was for a
beautiful future for a strong America as a leader toward
world peace and prosperity.

His 2 soul urge, 11/2 life path and 11/2 personality, his 6
birthday required that he maintain a strong intimate
relationship. He was not complete without a good marriage
and would not have been able to fulfill his mission as well
as he did without Nancy by his side. The care that she
provided to him in his later circumstances was a
reflection of the care that he gave to her when he was able.
