Musings

She is black and beautiful. Every morning and every evening for
the past two years she has dropped by for a brief chat and a
bite to eat. Generally she remains quite aloof, but she can
become demanding when the food is not there at her whim. I would
like to warm up to her, but she shies away from the least touch.
You can even hear the hissing if I try to hold her closer. My
dilemma, for which I seek your help, is how to move this
relationship a step closer.

So how is it that I put out so much for so little return? You
see she was brought to our circle by Trouble, who is the office
cat. He seems to think that she is just the cat's meow (and I
guess that she is.) Of course, Trouble has no such relationships
problems with her. I guess that cats have a special communication
together to which I am not privy. But it does seem a bit strange
that with all their interaction, we have found no evidence of
kittens.

The mystery is why she has such an aversion to being petted. Any
ideas from you cat lovers out there.

Happenings and Events

Scheduled Classes:

March 6-12, 2005, Certification Training Course, Indianapolis,
IN. This intense course is limited to 10 serious students Who
are interested in working professionally. It will be held at
the
Adam's Mark Hotel, Indianapolis, Airport. This course is much
more than a week of classes. If you are interested in a full
time or part time career in numerology, you will want to

A Bit of Philosophy

"How's the new chauffeur making out, Robert?" I asked.

Badly Mr. Donner, " He shook his head. "That man's lazy. Dust
all over my Cadillac every morning."

"That's what I hear everywhere. People don't take their work
seriously any more. You'll have to fire him."

"I've been considering it. That's a bad decision."

We had talked in that vein for several years, straight-faced and
without levity. It was Robert's own legend and he had taught me
to play up to it. He had a spinal injury and was capable of no
more demanding work than this seemingly simple task of pressing
(elevator) buttons, but he brought dignity to the task and gave
it stature. He knew how to meet the people who came to
Lorenson's; the mighty, the almost mighty, and the
preposterous. With fourth floor visitors he relaxed. I had heard
many times of his problems with his yachts and his Cadillacs and
his investments in Wall Street, anecdotes told with amazing
twists and with flashes of irony, but of his actual problems,
the realities of his life, the trouble that he must have had,
and the pain, I knew nothing. A dusty Cadillac is amusing and
trouble is not. It was part of his wisdom to understand that.

How the Upcoming US elections is shaping up by the Numbers

The candidates:

This is analysis of election day for the United State of America
for the purpose of indicating which candidate is favored by the
numbers. It only collaterally addresses the qualifications of
the candidates. For this purpose, The important day is November
2, 2004.

In an earlier article I had stated that John Kerry was most
favored among the Democratic candidates, but would have
benefited number wise by waiting until 2008 to run. He would
have been a formidable foe to George Bush in 2000. This does not
seem to be his year. Since Bush is in a 1 Personal year, he is
now direct and to the point. He comes across as a strong
leader.

Kerry is in a 2 personal year, which is a slow moving energy,
requiring patience. The 2 energy in Kerry's chart creates an
non-confrontational attitude. Instead of directly facing issues,
he will likely try to finesse the situation and use manipulative
techniques to reach his goals. In the dynamic energy of this
election cycle, that approach is not well-perceived.

Both the universal energies and the energies of the United
States, for that day, favor a decisive candidate with strong
ideas, even if those ideas are not of the mainstream thinking.
Because he will begin to feel the 3 energy of the coming year as
early as October 1, I would expect a last minute surge in favor
of John Kerry. He will be able to present his message with
increased clarity and persuasion.

George Bush is in a 1 personal year, going into a 2 year. For
much of the rest of the campaign, he may decide to work behind
the scenes. At first blush, this approach may seem to be
undesirable, but Kerry will be talking more. With his 7
personality, he could be misunderstood or misconstrued, to his
detriment.

Kerry is destined for greatness on the world stage. His 22/4
Life Path number is master level energy for world leadership. To
implement this energy appropriately requires an emphasis upon
service. If this energy is devoted to selfish financial or
political gains it will destroy him rather than to take him to
the expected heights.

George Bush has a heavy concentration of 6 energy in his chart,
including a 33/6 integrative vision number. This is master level
energy in areas of teaching and responsibility. His compassionate
conservatism is not just a surface tactic to appeal to the
electorate. That is who he is at the core. He may not always do
what is best, but his intention is proper. He keenly feels the
weight of the office.

My conclusion from the numbers is that this is going to be a
very close election, but the numbers favor George Bush to win.
There could be a last minute flurry of activity in both camps
that leaves the outcome in doubt until the all the votes are in
and counted. If Kerry wins it will be by sheer grit. The numbers
are not right for him this time. Keep in mind that the numbers
are not fate. We have free will and can choose a path against
the numbers. To succeed with this choice is like paddling
upstream. It can be done, but it is a whole lot of effort. That
is Kerry's position this time.

It could prove interesting to run the numbers on the entire
campaign team for both sides, but the primary candidates give a
fair picture of the situation.
