Musings

January is probably the worst month in which to make
resolutions. The energies from the prior year carry over on a
diminishing level through the first couple months of the year.
The energies of the old year conflict with the energies of the
new year and muddy the waters. January conflicts with the new
year as well, but on the opposite side of this year's number.
With so much turmoil in the numbers, is it any wonder that
resolutions are hard to keep. It is enough of a challenge to
adapt to the shifts without the added load of resolutions that
require discipline and will-power.

If the resolutions that you make do not require a strong effort,
why aren't you already successfully doing it. The nature of a
resolution is that we want to change a habit.

The numbers can help in setting achievable resolutions. Too
often we resolve to bring in or take out something that is
inappropriate to the support from the numbers. No wonder that
New Year's resolutions are honored in the breach.

A Bit of Philosophy

What a letdown. The seven deadly sins turn out to be nothing
more than little toadstools that have sprung up around the dead
roots of a decayed self-reliance. These highly touted sins are
only names we give to petty forms of exploitation that we turn
to if we have not learned to stand on our own two feet.

The person who has achieved self-reliance has no need for the
piddling gains he can get by exploiting the so-called deadly
sins. He finds neither gain nor pleasure in their pursuit. His
self-reliance has safely removed him from the needs of
dependency, He can create his own vitality and does not need to
steal or beg it. The so-called sinner is nothing more than an
unhappy child with messy pants.

Tony Blair and the Peace Process

Birth Name: Tony Charles Lynton Blair
Current Name: Tony Blair
Birth Date: May 6, 1953

Birth Data: Current Name:

Integrative Vision 23/5
Life Path 20/2
Birthday 6
Expression 12/3 8
Soul Urge 15/6 5
Personality 24/6 12/3

The Prime Minister of the UK is ideally suited by his numbers to
be a major negotiator in the Middle East Peace process. With the
Palestinian elections coming up shortly, a new opening may arose
for a resolution of the age-old conflicts between the
Palestinians and the Israelis. There has never been a better
opportunity, if both sides act in good faith for progress to be
made. The primary character of this new millennium is the 2
energy, which emphasizes cooperation and negotiation. The prior
millennium had a predominant 1 energy, which emphasized
independent action and competition.

The world that uses the Gregorian calendar is entering a 7
universal year. This is a year of deep thinking and faith in the
universal cohesion. The spiritual emphasis of the year adds to
the process. This article does not fully explore the other
calendars used throughout the middle East. A full correlation
could be even more revealing.

I would expect that much of the visible negotiation will fall
upon Tony Blair's shoulders with support and encouragement from
President Bush. These two leaders complement each other in vital
areas. Tony Blair's 2 life path gives him the sensitivity to
bring conflicting sides together. His 3 Expression, which is the
number of communication, is persuasive in selling his views. With
a 6 Soul Urge and 6 birthday, he has the balance to structure a
plan that is fair to all parties involved. His 5 Integrative
Vision number with a 23 subcomponent ties these diverse energies
into a unified whole that gives him the confidence and
risk-taking ability to pull it off.

It is historically fitting that the UK take the lead in this
peace process. They were instrumental in establishing Israel as
a nation. It was through the British Protectorate that the
nation could arise. Perhaps, as with Queen Esther of the
Biblical story, it is for such a time as this that Tony Blair
has risen to the office of Prime Minister. And he does have a
strong sense of history.

Obviously, a project of this magnitude has room for a large
supporting cast. The United States and many other nations will
have a role. President Bush lacks the eloquence of Tony Blair.
With his strong 6 energy, he is more down-home comfortable. The
President has the strength of will and the confrontational
qualities that can team up with the Prime Minister to tag team
the opposition. Tony Blair may not be comfortable with his
decisions in the matter until he has consulted with other
leaders and diplomacy experts. When he has this backing he can
move forward effectively. President Bush provides this strength
of will and decisiveness.

The full possibilities must await the outcome of the election.
As a preliminary assessment, the prospects for peace in the
Israeli-Palestinian conflict have not looked better according to
the numbers in our life times. The fact that the roots of this
tension go back not just decades, not just centuries, but
millennia does not diminish the favorable aspects of the
numbers. Add to the mix the energy shifts since the Harmonic
Concordance on November 8, 2003, and there is reason to hope.
