Musings

A revolution is afoot. It is being spread rapidly through the
internet, and has recruited the metaphysical community, the top
internet marketers and the scientific establishment. The idea
that has brought these divergent groups together is the concept
of quantum physics.

New ideas can spread rapidly with the current means of
communication. The movie "What the (BLEEP) do We Know" has
certainly raised awareness. Discussion groups have arisen in
many cities and towns.

So what does it all Mean? To accept the reality of quantum
physics means that each one of us has to take responsibility of
the events in our lives. We are the creator of the
circumstances that we face. This can be hard to accept. Quantum physics says that we get what we ask for. My immediate response was that I
did not ask for some of the challenges that I have faced. A
closer examination would show that I did indeed create those
situations.

I set a goal and immediately start to talk myself out of it
with thoughts such as: I don't know how to do that. or I
don't know if I can come up with the money. or Is this really the
route to go. Worries about money dispel the creation of the
necessary funds. Health concerns can make me sick. The
conscious
awareness of my thoughts shows much more negative thinking than
I would have believed possible. That awareness is the first
step. I am now taking charge of those counterproductive
thoughts and statements. None of this information is new. It has been
true since the creation of the universe. But now it is becoming
mainstream. Don't discredit it because it has become popular
(at least in certain circles.)

to live as a slave. The selfishness of a man who is willing to
die, if necessary, fighting for his freedom, lies in the fact that
he is unwilling to go on living in a world where he is no longer
able to act on his own judgment -- that is, a world where human
conditions of existence are no longer possible to him.

The HP Ouster of Carly Fiorina

Today, February 10, 2005, "Carly" Fiorina was ousted as
president of HP. She was the first woman to head this major a
corporation. Is HP the loser?

The first striking observation on her numbers is that the
numbers of the birth name and the current name are the same,
with subtle nuances in the underlying numbers. This similarity
gives greater force to the current name.

Although she is an innovative leader, she is not an
authoritarian. With a 14/5 Expression and a 5 integrative vision
number, she works a lot from trial and error. At times her
decisions can be impetuous. Having allowed for a degree of
rashness, she comes to the table with a well thought out plan.
She is intuitive enough to sense what will work.

The basis of her ouster was the purchase by HP of Compaq. This
decision had strong opposition from The Hewlitt heirs. It was
argued that she was taking the company away from its roots and
modifying the corporate culture that had stood the test of time.
There undoubtedly was truth to these assertions, Carly is not one
to be bound by tradition. She takes her responsibilities
seriously. She is considerate of the views of others, but not
always influenced by them.

Carly is very observant of everything going on around her.
Nothing escapes her attention. She takes in a massive amount of
data that needs to be processed. For this reason, even in the
high powered executive office she needs time alone to analyze
her position.

With the 16/7 life path, she is often misunderstood. Her view of
the world and of the corporation is not the same as most people.
She sees things from a different angle. Her communication can be
misconstrued even by associates who are favorably inclined toward
her. This same 7 energy keeps her somewhat aloof. She wears a
protective shield to cover her vulnerabilities.

Carly is in a 22/4 personal year. This is a year of great
accomplishment. It may appear at first blush that the ouster was
not in keeping with this energy. Her progressed chart shows her
under an 8 essence. At her birthday in September she will go
into a series of five years of a 19/1 essence. What that means
is that she is at the peak of her game in all aspects, but with
an impetus to achieve in her own business. With this peak
energy, she could have moved HP forward out of the negative
impact of the Compaq purchase. A new leader will need time to
get his feet wet. It seems to me that HP would have benefited by
keeping her in the position.

For Carly, the ouster was probably a favorable step. With the
strong 5 emphasis, she was ready to move on. There were still
enough challenges to prevent boredom, but she had brought a
fresh view to a staid company. It is time for her to take her
wealth of experience into her own business where she will have
full freedom to use her creative business ideas and her array of
experience without needing to answer to anyone else.

The expectation is that by September she will be back in the
headlines in a highly successful transition. For Carly the
future looks bright. She is on the threshold of even greater
achievement. It is vital that she holds to her grand vision.
Carly, congratulation s on your past successes. You are just
getting a good start.
