Are you Stuck With Your Numbers?

Most people, when they understand the emphases of their chart, are Quite content with the numbers that they have chosen to develop in this sojourn on the earth plane. On occasion, a person will have a set of core numbers that is extremely challenging. After struggling for some time, he/she may decide that enough is enough and begin to look for an easing of the burden.

This overwrought state is one of the few appropriate times to consider a name change. Although you still respond to your original numbers, Bringing in new energies to fill in gaps and to provide support in the most difficult areas can bring relief. On the other hand, if the modified name conflicts with the birth energies, changing a name can further exacerbate the problems.

You can see the effects of a name change in a marriage situation. If one of the parties takes on the last name of the spouse, the new configuration could bring in new challenges. That is why often there is an adjustment period after marriage, even with couples who have known each other well for some time.

People are adaptable. Even with the conflicting numbers, after a time these energies become more comfortable. The person finds a way to blend the old and the new into a workable compromise.

You also see the effect of a name change with actors who take on a stage name or writers who use a nom de plume. When it is done right, the professional career can soar. If it is done carelessly or ineptly, it can be career ending.

In business, you have greater flexibility. If necessary, you could incorporate an unincorporated business and get a new chart. This step requires setting up a whole new entity. Merely modifying the name or reincorporating an on-going business, however, does not reset the chart.

So, although you can add nuances to your birth or incorporation energy, you really are stuck with your original numbers. That is not to say, however, that you are fated to the default position, but it is easier and more productive to follow the pattern of your original numbers.

Why make life harder than it needs to be. With my 13/4 life path, that is one of my traits. My teen motto was "Think, there must be a harder way to do it." When a friend, who does shamanic work, did a soul retrieval on me, she brought in a piece that she said I had not brought into this lifetime - It was the piece that allowed me to do things the easy way. So you see. we can gain help along the way.
