Forbes Billionaires

Forbes's Magazine recently came out with its list of the wealthiest people, all of them billionaires. Of course, Bill Gates was on top again by a considerable margin, followed by Warren Buffet, with billions less.
Some of the prior year inclusions dropped out or were surpassed, such as Martha Stewart.

This list is dynamic, but generally the same people maintain a place on the list. If you follow the list for a period of years, you will find that the drop outs often occur because of a scandal or a disaster of some type. Some of these drop offs never recover their position because of legal entanglements or a total erosion of their means. Others are right back up very quickly.

What makes the difference? It would appear to be a mind set and an understanding of how to attract money. It is the intent to be wealthy coupled with knowledge. Once a person has been at this level it is much easier to imagine being back at that level. Someone who has never achieved these heights will not be able as easily to visualize this degree of wealth.

Forbes gives us a golden opportunity to look at the numbers of the ultra successful. What do the numbers of these people have in common? What distinguishes them. In a prior article       we briefly analyzed Bill Gates numbers. You will find that on the surface the numbers are not wildly different from many other charts. His success came from how he used the energies available to him. Perhaps the element that would be most striking to most people is that Bill Gates is not motivated by money.

For someone who has the time to dig out the birth names and birth dates of each of the listees, certain patterns would emerge that might give us a picture of success. In the early part of the 20th Century, Napoleon Hill for twenty years studied the wealthiest business leaders. He gained access to interview these people through Andrew Carnegie. The results of his study were written in a book called "Think and Grow Rich." This book has had a tremendous impact. Just about everyone who aspires to greater achievement has a copy of this book.

Napoleon Hill made his comparisons and analyses from interviews. Could we get a more accurate picture from the Numbers? In order to find what the numbers can teach us about high achievement, we need to approach the study with an open mind, Like a scientist in the laboratory, when we begin the experiment, we don't know what we will find. Preconceived notions will distort the findings and the value of the study.

An example of a surprise is in the numbers of Mother Teresa. In one of my classes we decided that we would like to know the numbers of a saint. We expected to find saintly numbers; numbers that would show a lot of spiritual and psychic interest and ability. Instead we found very earthbound energies. Her numbers pointed more strongly to a prostitute than to a saint. Her earth plane numbers were in keeping with her emphasis. She is not known for her scholarly dissertations or her pious words. She was a doer. Her mission was to bring improvement into the lives of people, often through taking audacious action.

The conclusion seems to be that much of our success in life is determined by using the supporting energies to accomplish our purpose in life. Two people with the same life path could each choose to go in an opposite direction, yet each will find support in the numbers, and each will be on his or her appropriate path. To decipher the likelihood of the choice you must consider the total chart, not just the life path number.
