Musings:

Now that the October Professional Training Class is history, we are ready to begin preparation and promotion for the April class.

Is this the one for you? We started the week with warm coatless days and ended with a hard freeze and snow potential. At least we missed the 2 feet that fell on Buffalo, NY. By Friday afternoon both student and teacher were worn out, but pleased with the results. Look for 2 newly certified numerologists to appear in the website shortly.

Returning to the office after a week, it looks like a stretch of catch up. If you have called or written during this time and have not received a response, you can expect to hear from me over the weekend. Really, I am not ignoring you. I will also be processing some unrelated ideas that arose from the interaction. Thanks students.

A Bit of Philosophy

...facts about numbers...are facts of nature. They do not depend on man, though man may be the only animal that has yet noticed them or thought about them. (Do animal mothers with broods, say a mother duck, know when one of their brood is missing? Do they think, in some duck-like way, "We seem to be one short"? Or do they think, "Where is George?") But these facts were true before any man noticed them, They are facts in the same way that gravity - the attraction of masses for each other - is a fact. They are not true, as many mathematical statements are true, because man made certain arbitrary assumptions or choices that in turn made them true. They are not true only because man decided to make a particular invention called numbers or addition or multiplication. They are true out there.

The Intuitive Path to Numerology

Up front, I will admit that my 4 life path requires a concrete base for my practice of numerology. I like to know that my consultation, both in business and personal growth readings, is solidly based upon a provable exposition of the numbers. To achieve this result, I spent many years immersing myself in the meaning of the numbers and their interactions.

Although many clients and observers insist that I must be working psychically to evoke the information that is included in a reading, my response is consistently that I am reading the numbers as you would read a book. The reason for this client perception is that knowing the nuances of the numbers, I can coordinate them in detail. This is the art of numerology.

My approach is logical-digital. I am most comfortable with concrete thought. Yet I acknowledge that familiarity with the numbers opens the intuitive side in a very positive way. Analyzing a number of charts ingrains certain patterns within these charts. The interpretation of a current chart draws upon the prior observation of a similar grouping of numbers in previous charts and the feedback from that reading. Over a period of time this build-up of number relationships makes each reading richer.

To the extent that these patterns can be accessed subconsciously, the intuitive sense of the numbers comes through. Yet I can point to you within the numbers of the chart exactly how a particular statement was derived.

Not everyone explores life in the same manner. Some people are visually oriented. Others respond from auditory stimuli. The uniqueness of the reader will dictate how that reader gets the most accurate results. I respect a numerologist who can look at a chart and see the person as a whole almost immediately. Some of these numerologists acknowledge that they work intuitively without analyzing the individual numbers. I cannot comfortably work in this manner, but if a different method gets provable results, I applaud the practitioner. The test of a numerologist, or of any metaphysical practitioner, is the accuracy of the result.
