Musings:
During the past couple months I had been so engrossed in the preparations for
the Professional Training Course that when it was over, I needed to take a few
days to step back from the involvement to reorient myself to the current
priorities. It was necessary to take a couple days in which I did only the
required activities. I cleaned house, watched television and read a novel as a
means of clearing my mind of the accumulated clutter. In this interim I was less
responsive to clients and friends.
I am now back to the normal processing with a fresh look. I am ready to
vigorously return to the next steps on my path. Without this break, I would
likely have slogged through at less than peak efficiency.
Taking this break would have been difficult for me to do, however, I had help
from the universe. It seemed as though, no matter how hard I tried, I could not
function in the normal mode. I finally yielded to the inevitable and accepted
the down time.
The moral to this story is that sometimes we get so close to our projects that
we lose perspective. The down time provides an invigorating reevaluation.

A Bit of Philosophy
The theory of mystical numbers is that system of interpretation which endeavors
to seek out hidden truths by means of numerical phenomena. This system operates
upon the basic premise that the Bible, like the universe, exhibits numerical and
symmetrical design because it was created by God. It is argued that all God does
He does with perfection and precision. His works are "absolutely perfect in
every particular." All His works are perfect in power, holiness, design,
execution, object, end and perfect in number. According to this theory, the
perfection of God's handiwork is in evidence in both His works and words. If one
is to really understand the world around him, he must seek out the grand
mysteries in nature as they are revealed in numeric design. It is the same with
the word of God. The key to understanding its truth and the secret to unlocking
its problems is the study of its numerical design. A careful study of these
numeric patterns, according to this theory, will give the student insights into
Scriptures which he could get in no other way.

A New Business Paradigm
In primitive societies the concept of number was not well defined. The basic
bartering unit was a quantity of a thing. It would have been difficult under
such a system to provide for a delayed transfer or to include transfers from a
third party. Each transaction was a direct negotiation one to one.
As societies developed a concept of number, a counting system was developed
which allowed a more abstract business model. The early systems were based upon
the decimal system with a ten base, presumably because most humans have ten
fingers.
As number concepts developed, music could take on a structure. There are certain
intervals that are more pleasing to the ear than others. When you plot out the
numbers of the musical notes in a classical piece of music you will see the
symmetry of the patterns.
Many theologian and scientists agree that the structure of the universe is
defined by number. Certain established ratios are evident in each element of
creation. The periodic table in chemistry lists all the known elements by
number. Each number represents a different element. The atom of each succeeding
element contains one more electron, proton and neutron than the prior element.
These elements are the building blocks of all that is in the physical world.
Only with a number system, could these relationships become known.
Number in the metaphysical realm delineates the esoteric meaning that transcends
the physical and reaches into the unseen worlds. When the elements are combined,
they create a compound that can be shown by number. The nature of these
compounds can be determined through the esoteric meaning.
With number being pervasive throughout the physical and metaphysical worlds, does
it not stand to reason that number is also influential in the business affairs
of society? Successful business relies upon good accounting. An accurate
tracking of results lets the business person know which ad campaigns work. You
often hear that salesmanship is a matter of the numbers, meaning how many people
you contact.
It is now time to move into a quantum business world where number is taken to a
higher level. The old model is heavy on trial and error. Numerology combined
with quantum marketing can eliminate a lot of the error. Marketing becomes
smoother. There is less wasted time and effort. It removes much of the drudgery.
The patterns of business practice have been handed down from generation to
generation based upon what was successful in the past. We continue these
practices because they are familiar. The old paradigm is no longer effective,
yet we continue to use it from force of habit or from fear of going against
established practices.
It is time for a new paradigm.
