Musings:

The Class in Reno is now history, and what a time we had. What made this class special was eager students and a hotel staff that gave us VIP treatment throughout the week. The weather was great - hot, but always with a breeze. When I arrived, the atmosphere was smoke filled from the fires. The haze dissipated early in the week.

Of course, even my stolid and staid 4 life path required that I explore the casinos and at least indulge a little in the slots (spent about $10.00 and won $4.00.)

A Pacific Time Zone venue worked out well. For my home time, the class day started at noon and went to midnight, which is fine for a night owl. The other way around does not work as well. Someone coming from California to Indianapolis starts class at 6:00 AM home time.

I did notice the time lag once I arrived home. it has taken almost a full week to get back on track.

We are looking to do another Western Course next spring or summer. Both the students and the hotel are strongly urging a return to Reno. With such encouragement, I would be delighted to consider this venue again. For you West coast readers, would you rather have us consider your area? Call me at 800-442-2589 if you would like to sponsor the class.

Professional Training

Reno is now behind us. we are looking forward to the next class in Indianapolis, IN, starting October 7, 2007. It is still shown on the website at the Adam's Mark Hotel, but the hotel may need to be changed. We will let you know as soon as possible so that you can make arrangements.

The class is just the first phase of the training. Check out the on-going program on the web site at

The Professional Training is gaining momentum as more people are considering the value of a career in numerology. The field is growing faster than the supply of qualified numerologists. It is time to get on the band wagon.

The interest has been enhanced as well by the loyal band of affiliates who have been promoting this program. Thanks to you all. The commission is substantial. Earn a part of your tuition by promoting the course.

A Bit of Philosophy

Did you know that the average age of the people who write for Forbes, Fortune, Business Week and the Wall Street Journal is something like 29 years old? Take a look at the masthead of almost any business magazine and what do you see? The names of - more likely than not - young women.

If you read the likes of the Harvard Business Review and other prestigious publications you'll be reading theories propounded by college professors and research analysts.

Don't get me wrong. I read these publications. And I understand the necessity of hiring young, inexperienced writers. But because I have been on the inside of the business publishing world I've become skeptical about what I read in the business press, and especially so about advice that is given.

Numbers

It has often been said that numerologists look at numbers differently from a mathematician. Of course, numerologists provide a metaphysical definition to the energies designated by the numbers, but at the core, numbers are numbers. The whole structure of the universe is built upon numerical sequences. Numerology reads these sequences relative to each individual and to each component of the universe.

Although the basic calculations now require only the most simple addition and subtraction, The study of numerology can take you as deeply into mathematics as you desire to go. The ancients, in developing numerological concepts, delved into the most esoteric mathematical functions. Much of what passes for numerology today was founded upon concepts which these early pioneers structured from the concepts of higher mathematics. Very few scholars have either the time or the knowledge to create the necessary number relationships for themselves. The reward for those who sip from this fountain of knowledge is an assurance that the numerology they practice is solidly based upon sound principles.

The concepts of numerology are not arbitrarily derived. Master numbers are not a whimsical definition just because of the double digit sequence, i.e. 11, 22, 33 etc. The elemental components of these master numbers can be mathematically shown to integrate into the universal structure in a special manner.

The scope of this article does not allow for the proofs necessary for a full understanding. Suffice it to say that numerology can be a much deeper study than is commonly assumed. The simplified versions which we use in practice are logical and accurate. All numerologists of whom I am aware agree upon the meaning of the numbers. At the core we are in agreement. There are differences of opinion upon the reading and structure of a chart, but for the most part we have all taken the work of the earlier adepts as our foundation. Additional insights will be discovered as a new generation of mathematicians expand upon this foundation.
