Musings:
Many mentors and coaches will encourage hiring out whatever does not require
your expertise. This approach may bring quicker economic success, but I wonder
if it also disconnects us from much that is important.
If you have been a reader of this newsletter for very long, you know that at the
first of the year we bought the house in which we had been living for over a
decade. Although we were the caretakers for an absentee owner, it was only after
purchasing the house that we were free to make changes that we desired.
Ownership brings a different feeling even to a familiar property.
The trim work needed painting. I made some inquiries on hiring out the job, but
decided to do it myself. Was this the best use of my time? I could have spent
that same time in furthering my product development or on some needed work for
the professional training program. My advisors would have urged me to let a
professional do the painting.
What I discovered in taking on the task was that my too sedentary pattern needed
the physical shake-up. I experienced a healthy tiredness from the exertion. By
getting out the ladders and the paint buckets, I also gained a sense of
ownership that I would have missed by hiring someone else. By putting in my
sweat, the house became more completely home. I look at the results with a
pleasure and pride that another man's work would not bring to me. How much is
that worth?

We have changed my class title on University of Master to Numerology and Life.
THe original title was Numerology 101, but our discussions have gone way beyond
the basics. In past few weeks we have analyzed the Jim Carey movie "The Number
23". We will probably go back for further discussion in a future class. We have
also discussed master numbers and some more esoteric effects of the numbers.

A Bit of Philosophy
America has become the most prosperous and powerful nation on earth, not by
government doing things for people but by people doing things for themselves.
Americans built this country, its business and its industry, by the sweat of
their brows. The marketplace, uncluttered by excessive government regulation,
determined success or failure through consumer democracy. The law of supply and
demand ruled and ruled well; efficient producers were rewarded and inefficient
ones fell by the wayside. Without undue restrictions, the lure of new markets at
home and abroad, gave the efficient producer the incentive to expand and become
still more efficient. Then, with the emergence of interchangeable parts, the
assembly line, and new technology, we became the world's foremost agricultural
and industrial power. Of course, we were lucky to have an abundance of
resources, but the key ingredient was freedom - economic and political.

Beyond the Master Numbers
As discussed last week, most numerologists consider 11, 22,and 33 to be master
numbers. Why only these duplicate double digits and not the higher numbered
doubles such as 44, 55, 66, etc?
It is my sense that the designation of master numbers involves the progress of
society as a whole. Although each person is an individual, we are all in this
journey together, We are connected at the soul level to a much greater degree
than most people realize.
The 11, a number of enlightenment, has reached master level status because a
sufficient number of individuals have progressed in their spiritual development
to the point of critical mass. Enlightenment is becoming widespread through
ready access to information through modern means of communication. When sacred
writings were reproduced by hand, distribution was limited. without available
written material, the masses had little incentive to become literate. Although
some would descry the state of modern education, an increasing number of people
are seeking out truth. It is becoming more difficult for unscrupulous leaders to
fool a more discerning populace.
The 22, the number of the master builder, is strongly evident in society. Great
enterprises are being built by the creative genius of mental giants. The 22
encourages putting together highly profitable institutions that also provide
service to society. The makers of automobiles and railroads and countless other
goods and services evidence that the 22 is deserving of the master level
designation.
The 33, known as the master teacher is certainly coming into its own in this
information age. Some numerologists are still reluctant to grant master level
status to the 33, but before long, society will develop to the point that the
designation must be accepted.
I feel that the 44, the number of the enlightened ruler, is beginning to fill to
the master level. Society is not yet ready to accept the fullness of the 44.
Governmental, industrial and business entities are still too ruled by power
struggles, greed and corruption for the 44 to be accepted. A 44 ruler at the
current stage of development would likely be a tyrant, the power of the 44
without the spiritual development to be of service.
In this new millennium the energies are more conducive to the cooperation and
goodwill required for a 44 master level. The ideals of the 44 were incorporated
into the founding principles of the United States of America. Neither the USA
nor the world at large, were ready for this idealistic state. Although it
appears that the movement is away from this development, when a requisite number
of enlightened people send out the vision, it will take hold at the quantum
level and become a reality.
To go to the higher levels of master numbers requires a societal development
commensurate with that energy. To try to force the master level into a number to
which society has not yet attained is to create martyrs. How quickly the higher
numbers fill to master status is determined by the spiritual development of
society. The pioneers who lead the way are either too far ahead of society that
they become marginalized or are too disruptive to the status quo and are
removed.
The appropriate path to a higher level society is not to battle the present
structures. It is rather for a sufficient number of enlightened people to create
a vision of the ideal and to consistently put that vision into the collective
unconscious. Each thought, attitude and emotion affects everyone on the
unconscious level. When the ideal vision reaches critical mass, the outer
conditions will begin to conform to that growing consciousness.
These thoughts may seem to be revolutionary to some, but it is not a revolution
with guns and destruction. It is a spiritual revolution in the thinking of
humanity. Perhaps we are in process of creating a new humanity. The changes are
evident in the human DNA. Human beings have been given free will to allow us
choices to become whatever we desire. The Bible says that it does not yet appear
what we shall be.
When we refuse to remain limited, we can step into the higher master numbers.
