Musings:
I won't say that running the numbers for the timing of the Texas
classes helped us to avoid the blizzard, but it worked out wonder-
fully. When we left Indianapolis for Harlingen the temperature was
a frigid 11 degrees. When we arrived in Harlingen, it was a balmy
85 degrees. We watched the weather channel daily to keep track of
the home front and reveled in the short sleeve comfort.
The classes were extremely positive. This group of students were
astute and eager learners. Take a look at the pictures on the web

We are looking into the possibilities of on-line instruction. The challenge is
to find a set-up that will allow the maximum interaction with a reasonable cost.

Relating Your Business to World Conditions
In past issues we have discussed the various cycles to which both
you and your business are attuned. We can take this discussion a
step further by determining the universal numbers and the numbers
of the country within which you reside.
Not all cultures use the same calendar or the same alphabet. As a
result there may be conflicts in the established cycles of the
various cultures. The cycles are determined by the calendar and
the alphabet that are used on a daily basis. The numbers derived
from these bases influence each individual within that culture.
Universal numbers
The universal year is the total of the digits of the calendar year.
In the United States of America, this is the year 2003 which reduces (adding the
digits until you reach a single digit) to a 5 universal
year. In Thailand this is the year 2546, which reduces to an 8
universal year. In the same way that you can chart your personal
months and personal days, you can chart the personal months and
personal days of countries. Some of the world conflict can be
charted through these discrepancies.
If you are doing business globally, you can benefit by knowing the
cycles of the country in which you are working.
Cities, states and postal codes add their own cycles. Were we to
look at all the possibilities we would become dizzy.
Consideration of all the cycles that impact any given situation
can become very cumbersome. It would be necessary to determine
which cycles have the strongest influence when they are in conflict.
You probably would not run the full chart for all these entities,
except in making major decisions.
To provide a clearer example, the USA has an accepted start date
of July 4, 1776. A change was made to our calendar in 1752, so
our date does not need to be adjusted. The personal year for the
USA is 16/7. The universal year for our calendar is 5. The 5 and
the 7 energies create a major conflict. The United States is in
a year of introspective re-evaluation of who we are and where we
wish to go. A lot of deep thinking goes into this analysis. The
7 is a year to learn faith. The 5 of the universal year pulls in
the opposite direction. It is the energy of action. Do something - anything -
just to get the ball moving. This energy can be rash
and impulsive.
So how does this disharmony affect your business? Life Path
Numerology Center, Inc. with a founding date of October 22, 1996,
is in a 1 personal year. As president of the corporation, with
a May 30, 1940, birth date, I am in a 4 personal year.
Putting the cycles together, we have a 5 universal year, a 7
USA personal year, a 1 corporate personal year, and my 4 personal
year. We won't get into the complexities of adding the personal
months and personal days or the cycles of the State of Indiana
and the City of Indianapolis.
The strongest cycles are the cycles closest to you. Your personal
cycle carries the most weight, then the business cycle, then the
country cycle and finally the universal cycle. The order then
in the example is 4,1,7, and 5. Adjacent numbers tend to be in
conflict. As a result, my personal year is always out of sync
with the universal year. The 4 is hard working stable energy
that seeks security. The 1 is innovative with creative business
ideas. The 7 is introspective and aloof. The 5 opens up new
opportunities and encourages change.
While I am seeking a stable financial position, the business is
demanding expansion into new areas. The USA is pushing toward
thinking about the whole situation a while longer and the
universe is upsetting the established structure.
To make the most out of this combination, I will need to be
more flexible than is comfortable in order to bring some well-
thought out innovations to the business, so as not to miss out
on opportunities that are being created for me and the business.
