Musings
In the northern hemisphere we are at the summer solstice. The
summer season is officially here. Outdoor activities are favored
and television goes into reruns. Without ice and snow travel
becomes less uncertain. And a good time is had by all!
At least that is how our memories shape the summer. With the
advent of air conditioning and human conditioning, it seems to me
that people are staying indoors more often. We take our fun
vicariously through watching others do the exciting activities
in which we once upon a time participated. Now instead of
driveway hoops we are a spectator of a professional or a college
team, and that often not at the arena, but from the same couch
upon which we whiled away the winter.
If all that we do is to switch the images we watch is it any
wonder that life seems to take on a sameness no matter what the
season?

A Bit of Philosophy
When you attempt to feel spiritual you erect a barrier, because
you are then introducing your ego into the picture. Ego wants to
praise you for being more spiritual than those around you, and
condemn you when others are more spiritual than you. Ego wants
to explain and defend your spirituality, and monitor how
spiritual
you are feeling at various times and in many
circumstances.
By Simply recognizing your connection to God, and inviting that
part of yourself to consciousness, you are raising your energy
level to the level of spirit.

Discover Your Special Niche by the Numbers
After you have established the parameters of your business by
the numbers, in addition to the specific products which you sell
you will need to promote the business itself. With the numbers
you will be able to select the emphasis that will have the most
impact.
For many years automobile racing has defined Indianapolis to the
world. The Indianapolis 500 is shown on worldwide television.
Now with the US Grand Prix, which was run today, and the
Brickyard 400, a major NASCAR race, the track is still a major
draw to the city. It is a part of the branding. Throughout the
past couple decades the city administrations have positioned
Indianapolis as the amateur sports capitol as well. Add the
Colts (NFL football team) the Pacers (NBA basketball team) and
the Indians (AAA baseball club), plus the headquarters of the
NCAA (National College Athletic Association) and the several
high school and college teams and you would think that
Indianapolis is a sports crazy city.
Actually to many of us who live here, the sports are secondary
to the wide range of activities available. For example, this
weekend included a jazz festival featuring many of the greatest
living performers. The theater is alive and well with both local
and touring actors. The fabric of any metropolitan area is
diverse.
The point here is that the city has become better known by
Pin-pointing the sports aspect. This same situation applies to
branding your business. If you promote yourself in a narrow
niche, you will become known for that niche. That does not mean
that you leave your multiple talents on the shelf. But if you
try to promote too diverse a message you will not become known
for any of them. Keep some surprises for your customers.
My personal numbers and the numbers for Life Path Numerology
Center are strongly business oriented. Both my passion and the
focus of the corporation are upon numerology. Based upon the
numbers we have chosen to create a business impact within
numerology. Our major thrust is the use of numerology as a
business tool. This emphasis sets us apart from the hundreds of
other websites that promote numerology. This newsletter is
written with that theme in mind. The Daily Numeroscopes include a
section on Business and Finance.
Obviously the branding is beginning to take hold. A web site out
of India has copied an article verbatim without attribution as
his business section. The article does mention Life Path
Numerology Center in the body, so I have mixed feelings about
his unauthorized use. It is recognition that we are the site for
business numerology. (Please note that all the articles are
freely available for republication if the contact information
remains intact.)
That emphasis does not mean that we avoid personal readings. We
also have workshops in Parenting and relationships as well as
teaching basic classes in numerology. You will find these
services on the web site, but in the general promotions the
business services are highlighted. This emphasis would not work
well if the corporate and personal numbers did not support this
direction. It is important to first set the numbers for the
business. The emphasis will flow from the numbers. If you know
in advance where you want to place the major thrust, you will
want to coordinate the initial numbers to fit your plan.
