Musings:
The USA elections have been held. Some results are still pending as being too
close to call. This election has world wide implications for good or for bad. In
any case there will be changes as a consequence, but I am not much interested in
rehashing the process.
In any contested election, whether governmental voting, college fraternity /
sorority, or business meeting, someone is not going to like the vote. Dire
predictions are voiced by the loser.
The question that each person must answer is how he or she will proceed. In most
instances, life goes on with little noticeable effect at the individual level.
There may be larger consequences on the world stage.
One of the effects of the increasing earth energy is that the hidden will be
revealed. It will become more difficult to keep secrets. Business as usual will
become all but impossible as the nefarious activities are brought to light. This
process is necessary to cleanse the earth plane of the dark energies and to
bring in the age of light.
This is not to imply that the people who are exposed are evil. They are still
caught up in the dark patterns. This is the way we have always done things. No
More! The old ways are fading away to allow a brighter world - a world of loving
kindness. Have you sent love to Saddam Hussein during his trial?
I am not suggesting that he ought to escape just punishment for his tyranny. He
can be tried and even put to death without diminishing the love that we send to
him. Loving our enemies does not exclude meting out justice for misdeeds. It
does not mean condoning wrongful actions. Can you imagine the effect of a
million people sending love to Osama Bin Laden? How healing would that be to us?

A Bit of Philosophy
I always wonder about people who complain about the piles of paperwork looming
over them. Paper shouldn't control you - it's just paper, not some ugly behemoth
monster from hell waiting to bite you. Of course, most people procrastinate
because of anxiety - the anxiety of worrying about a stack of papers is
preferable to the anxiety of actually sorting through, and understanding, what's
in the stack. Most people know intuitively that there are some nasty little
surprises lurking in those documents.

I Can Do It Myself!
Certain business functions are vital to every business. These tasks must be
accomplished in a timely manner for the enterprise to succeed. Not everyone is
equally equipped to handle each of these activities. Your core numbers provide
information about which tasks you should do yourself and which ones you should
farm out.
If your core numbers contain a lot of 3s and/or 5s, and few or no 4s, you may
want to hire a bookkeeper. Your records will likely show your lack of attention.
If you have little 3 or 5 energy in your core, except in highly technical
fields, you may not be the world's greatest salesperson. Perhaps a hot shot
persuader would be a good staff addition. Just don't get conned.
The point is that no one is excellent at all things. Struggling to handle all
phases of your business may be counter-productive. The decision of when or if to
hire or outsource some functions may be as much due to your numbers as it is to
the necessity. Some business people would consider it to be a sign of weakness
if they admitted that help is desirable. With a 4 life path, I suffer from this
near sightedness. It is hard to allow someone else to take over any part of the
business, whether it is in marketing, record keeping or web site design. I am
now doing more sharing, but with resistance.
Those whose numbers allow them to do a task easily may not comprehend that
others may really work at the same type of activity. Our unique talents
encourage cooperation.
You will be a greater success by working in the areas of your expertise and
allowing others to do the tasks for which hey are suited. We don't succeed by
pushing ourselves in areas for which we lack talent. Better to be an expert at
those things you do well than to be mediocre in all things.
